Car description |

This 1988 GMC S15 is a lightweight truck with a cool sleeper style. After all, the slick paint and big V8 is just part of a well-kept classic pickup package. But that cowl induction hood is a subtle hint at the beastly 400ci V8 beneath the skin.
This upgraded GMC is a reminder of what we really love to do with these lightweight machines: customize them. The bold blue is a newer application that delivers plenty of shine as the light rolls off the crisp lines of this square-body pickup. There's plenty more upgraded shine on the brightwork of the billet grille, chrome front bumper, wheel arch trim, and upgraded 15-inch Rally wheel package that pays tribute to the best speedy GM muscle machines. The same muscle car kind of tribute can be seen in the upgraded cowl hood. But they also didn't forget this is a true pickup, and so the bed has liner paint to protect it from any weekend chores.
The interior takes the stock pickup and turns it up a notch for comfort and performance. That means convenient features like the AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input, power windows, and power locks. The tilt steering column is now connected to a grippy Grant sports steering wheel, and there's a handy tach that is now in easy view. Plus, you have auxiliary readouts, toggle switches, and a B&M floor shifter, so this little truck looks like it's ready to launch!
The 400 callouts on the cowl hood weren't lying. This one has been upgraded to a 400 cubic-inch V8 that delivers big block style displacement with small block weight. The upgraded V8 looks fresh in the engine bay because this transplant happened only about 5k miles ago. Plus, you have performance components like an upgraded cam, a four-barrel carburetor, and an Edelbrock intake. The motor runs great, and you get to choose if you want to run with a subdued rumble or bring the full thunder thanks to electronic exhaust cutouts. And you get to control the powerband thanks to the three-speed automatic transmission with 2,500 stall. As you look over all the upgrades, you see that this was a thoughtful total power package upgrade. And they even made it easy to enjoy on the road with power steering and power brakes w/discs up front.
Complete with build receipts, this is the GMC that has been upgraded for sleek style, growling sound, and plenty of power. It makes for a terrific total package offered for a terrific price. Call today!!!
