Car description

Are you a C10 fan that wants to be a little different? Or are you a little different and want to get in to the hot rod patina truck scene?
This short bed 1968 GMC is as solid as they come and still wears its original paint and dealer tag! If you are a fan of patina it doesn't get much better than this. The truck was found and purchased out of southern Texas where it spent the greater majority of the last 51 years. It does have some dents and dings here and there from where grandpa used it on the farm but it adds to the look and in my opinion only makes it cooler.
The truck has the original super reliable, bulletproof inline 6. It starts with no no hesitation and will take you anywhere you want to go. We added a new Optima battery and 4 core aluminum radiator the rest of the DT is original. It came with a three speed column shift transmission but we have taken the shifter off the column and put it in the floor with a new Hurst kit. The brakes have been completely gone through and work great, and it even retains a functional parking brake. Everything works on this truck all lights, turn signals, hazards, wipers, stereo etc. It also has 5 new tires that may have around 1000 miles on them (spare has never touched the street). All of the glass and weather stripping is new as well.
The interior has been completely redone with a new seat cover, dash pad, full carpet kit and door panels, it is perfect.
If you are looking for a cool old short bed truck that you can daily drive this is it. It truly needs nothing...you can fly in and drive it home. The value of these trucks is constantly rising, they have a huge aftermarket and faithful following. This one being a true short bed with the original drive train is a rare find for sure and the upside potential is certainlythere. Its also very hard to get upside down in these trucks as the market has gone completely crazy.
All that said I believethe asking price is vary fair and pretty firm. I purchased this truck to drive but have to many cars and I hate to let it sit. It don't eat though and I don't have any habits I cant afford so save the BS offers... I do require a non-refundable deposit of $250 due within 48 hours of an accepted offer and full payment to be made within 7 days.
I can help you set up shipping if need be.
