Car description |
---|
I have a clear Indiana title in my name. Mileage however is exempt because of the age and it having a 5 digit speedo (it's an Indiana thing).
The paint is 100% original with exception to the tailgate. This truck has NO rust holes anywhere. I purchased the truck from the West Coast and shows that it lived its life in a salt free area. There is a minor spot of body damage at the top of the bed near the tailgate as seen in the pictures. The tailgate still opens and closes. Each rear fiberglass fender has minor damage (very minor in my opinion) as every Dually has. The truck still has the original GM exhaust which has NO leaks and is in good shape. The headlights, turn signals and brake lights all work.
The interior is all original with exception to the seats. The door panels are in great shape for being original GM panels. The dash has cracks, all gauges work but some are not 100% accurate, carpet is good but has stains as most 33 year old truck would.
This truly is a great truck and I want the buyer to be happy with it. With that said I want to try to be as honest and tell you about everything I know about the truck. Here are a few thing that you should know about the truck. The AC is intact but does not work. Heat and vent controls work but the heater fan doesn't come on. Cruise does not work. When you activate power door locks, most work. 3 of the power windows work but to different degrees (some are slow or may not go all the way down). I personally have never tried the passenger gas tank, I have always used the driver side tank. I have never had the truck stuck therefore I can not verify anything about the 4x4 (lockouts turn, transfercase shifter moves between positions). I tried to list everything that I know about the truck.
These items have been recently installed on the truck by me or by the previous owner. PS Pump, Alternator, Radiator, Motor, Fuel pump, Carburetor ..... I personally have changed recently engine oil and coolant, greased the truck and installed new air cleaner as general maintenance.
Please keep in mind, this truck has never been repainted. There are no hidden surprises! It is a great truck and will sell to the highest bidder. The reserve will be set at $8k. Anyone is more than welcome to come inspect, or drive the truck if they want to.

My family and I own the squarebodyfarm. We buy, sell, collect and show these trucks as a hobby. I can tell you from my experience that finding an original paint 4x4 crew cab in this original condition is very hard to do.
I would also like to say, if you park this truck in your garage over night there will be NO puddles under it the next morning unlike most of the trucks. It just goes to show the quality of truck it truly is.

I am sorry for the additional notes: this truck does have the correct Dana 60 front axle and Dana 70 rear axle. The frame is very, very nice and still has the original chalk marks from GM that were placed on the frame during the assembly process. All the cab floors, cab supports, inner rockers, inner cab corners are in tact and are as clean as the exterior of the truck.I just noticed that some of my pictures are sideways and I didn't get them rotated correctly before bidding began. If you need addition pictures, I will accommodate. Please be SPECIFIC with your request because often some people just want to me to take 50 random pictures for no reason.
1 last thing. When listing the truck, the EBay program did not offer me a drop down for the model Sierra Classic K3500 so the truck is not listed correctly (their fault). They are working to get this correctly. The truck is a 4x4.Thank you for your interest.
