1976 GMC K15 Stepside 4x4 305 V8 4 speed Manual Transmission
Here is a running, driving, stopping 1976 K15 project truck.
It has a 305 V8 with new head gaskets, new water pump and new spark plugs. The truck had 2 cracked heads which were also replaced with good used 305 heads. The timing will need to be set with a timing light. The timing is good enough at the moment to move the truck around unpaved roads. Oregon tags are good until Feb 2019. It has an Edelbrock SP2 Manifold and 4 Barrel Edelbrock Carb that works but could also use tuning. It has electric choke which isn't hooked up at the moment. Currently there's a slight miss from cylinder 7 which I believe could be corrected with new plug wires or by loosing the corresponding valves a hair.
Transfer Case and 4 spd Manual work properly. The clutch pedal could use a little adjustment.
The tires are around 85% tread left. The hood is in good shape aside from the paint ( not broken in half like some of the hoods).
The paint / body is rough. Not much rust. Some holes in the drivers floor and passenger side which are pictured. The passenger side fender is rough as well but I can include a better one to whomever the purchaser is.
The step side bed will need new wood. I also have a short wide bed that arraignments can be made for as well as another cab that is rust free.
The interior is rough as well. The seats ripped. No HVAC controls, radio, or wipers. The Headlights and taillights do work. There is an aftermarket, leaky sunroof that someone installed also.
The wiring works but it's not pleasing to the eye.
This is a project truck. Please be aware of this when bidding. The truck starts easily, runs, moves, stops. I have not used it on paved roads yet, only back roads and around the property. If you want a daily driver this may not be your truck. It could be a daily driver again but it will need some TLC in various departments. Please look at the pictures and if you have any requests please let me know and I will provide what I can in a timely manner.
The interstate battery pictured in the engine bay will be replaced with a good working battery before pickup.
