1993 GMC Typhoon Pearl White 2 door 4.3 turbo Automatic

Got this from a friend of a friend with the hopes of getting it running right without too much effort. Turns out I don't have the time. What I can tell you is this has been in storage for a very long time and had a paint job about 12 years ago, which is about the same time the engine modifications were done. From what I was told, a mechanic talked the owner into changing the fuel injection to carbureted. It appears that most or possibly all of the parts that were removed are in the tubs pictured. The truck runs, but not right. It has a hard time idling, but if you floor it from a stand still it goes like a raped ape, but before it gets through second get it falls short like its starving for fuel. I tried to get pictures of all the imperfections in the paint. The truck looks damn nice, just needs a good technician to get it mechanically correct. No major rust underneath. I've disclosed everything I know about it, feel free to ask questions.
