1971 GMC Sprint, this is the same as an El Camino except with GMC badging. The SP was GMC version of Chevys SS. This is the first year of the GMC Sprint. There are fewer of these vehicles of coarse. It is a 1971 GMC Sprint Custom. Factory 12 bolt rear end, power steering, front power brakes disk brakes, 350 engine. Bucket seats, horseshoe shifter. Same as an SS. This GMC was manufactured in Van Nuys California and has been a California car, no rust. Olderlacquer paint job. Runs good, transmission shifts perfect. This can go down the interstate 70, 80 MPH. Polyurethan bushings, front end is tight and steers well. Stops straight and well with no pulling to the sides. New door panels, the armrest with new pads and handles have been installed. I drive this car a few 100 miles a month. Could be a daliydriver. This has been in the family for 10 years and never broke down. It has been rewired, newer 295 50 15 tires on the rear, 235 60 15 tires on the front. All of the fluids have been changed regularly and are clean. Headers and dual Flowmaster'sexhaust. Has a nice rumble that only a true American car can have, that get compliments often. Electronic ignition, HEI. Chrome dress up kit. Edelbrockcarburetor, Edelbrock intake, runs cool with aluminum radiator, transmission cooler.
