I am helping my friend sell there1950 GMC 250 Grain Truck. It has been in the same family since new and only has 22,735 miles on it. It has always been stored inside and is in remarkable shape for being 68 years old. There is surface rust underneath but no rust holes. The battery tray is rusted in 2 places, but is readily available. The outside has been repainted with a driver paint job but not show quality paint job. I have crawled under looking for any signs of rust repair and have found nothing. The bottom of the doors, rocker panels, floors, firewall and fenders are all solid. It still has the original rubber floor mat and seals around the doors. (Amazing) I have 42 years experience with vintage cars and trucks and this is the most solid vehicle I have ever seen. The wood appears to be all original and has been repainted. This is a grain truck with a tilt bed.It does run, but needs the carb cleaned, exhaust, and master cylinder. The engine feels strong and does not smoke. It has a clean MN. title, but the truck is located in Henderson, CO outside of Denver. The high bidder is responsible for pick up or shipping of the truck, and must put a $500.00 deposit within 24 hours of winning the bid.
