Car description |
---|
Late model pickup with 39,000 original miles. Body is in very nice shape for its age with no rust. Has never been driven in the winter.
The good:
Solid body and frame with no body work.
Low miles.
Transmission shifts smoothly and rotors aren't warped.
Steering & suspension systems don't pull, shake or do anything they shouldn't.
Inspected in January, 2018.
Plenty of tread on the tires.
New battery, water pump and brake line.
Bed liner is included and isn't a recent install to hide rust.Has original tool kit that looks like it's never been used. Original manual is included too.
My professional mechanic went through the truck and found no issues other than the need for a new engine.A great candidate for a daily driver or restoration project.
The bad:
Windshield cracked (but passed PA inspection).
Seat could use a cover.
Driver's door pull strap broken.
Paint on hood and roof beaten by the sun.
The only dent is in the passenger's rear quarter panel. Should be an easy fix and isn't through the metal.
Only one speaker out of the two works.
Will eventually need a rear bumper. While the tires are good, they are mismatched.Has engine noise that will require attention. Here's a YouTube video with the engine running:
https://youtu.be/QimFA1qcdhMWill likely need towed as the oil pressure goes to 0 after a few miles of operation, but does start, run and drive under its own power.I'd personally prefer to replace the engine and keep the truck since the body is in such good condition but my time is being pulled in different directions. The truck is available for your inspection and short test drives. If you have any questions or would like detailed images of specific parts of the truck, please let me know.
