Car description |
---|
I have a 69 GMC long bed. I have a title that is in my name. The engine and transmission have been rebuilt recently.
The engine is a recently rebuilt 454 big block Chevy. It has been professionally balanced and has the following parts: 22cc dome pistons, 049 heads with stainless valves, Lunati cam with .523/.553 lift 224/234 degrees @ .050", Lunati springs locks and retainers, Clevite 77 bearings, Holley 850 double pumper, K&N filter, headers, new radiator, new power steering pump, rebuilt alternator, good battery a few months old, fairly new tires, fresh alignment, new fuel tank, lines/ gas and brake, new fuel pump new locking fuel cap, new torque converter, rebuilt transmission, new shocks, and many other things that have been replaced.
This is a somewhat rare truck that it is a factory black painted truck with the white roof which is desirable, factory a/c _ not working, automatic, GMC. I have almost all of the original trim. I have a replacement rocker panel and cab corner.
This truck isn't quite finished. It is driveable. The registration expires this month. I drove it to many car shows. I need to finish bleeding the brakes. I have a 72 gas tank in the truck so a vapor return line can be ran. I was in the process of that. If the truck sits in traffic or in a parking lot on a hot day, it will vapor lock. I will try to complete the line.
This is an old truck and will not drive like a new vehicle.
This is a video when I first got it running before I installed the Holley and the MSD ignition box.
