The time has come to let someone else enjoy this awesome piece of American history. This is not just your normal 1958 GMC truck. This is the body of a 1958 truck sitting on top of a 1977 Chevy K5 blazer frame and drive train. The power plant is a summit crate 383 stroker that puts out 420 horsepower. The motor only has appx. 2000 miles on it. It has long tube headers that go into 3" exhaust dumped under the bed of the truck. It's loud and has a very good cam lope. The transmission is a freshly built TH350 (have complete build sheet) that has about 300 miles on it. The interior was completely redone as well. The truck runs and drives great, you can let go of the wheel at 75 and it runs straight as an arrow. The 4 wheel drive of course works great and the truck does have heat and ac. I'm sure I'm forgetting things, but if you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to ask!.
