Car description |

What you are looking at is a 1979 GMC Sierra Grande. This truck has a 5.7 350 in it is what I think it is, I have not ran any number on the block as I have had no time. But previous owner told me it was and from what I have looked into it should be. It does run and drive, the power steering works but leaks a good bit, looks like the return line needs replaced. That is about the only fluid that leaks. I have drove the truck and there is no noises or hesitations in the drivability. I expected the valve seals to leak but so far it has not even smoked on start up. The transmition shifts just fine as well.
The body: over all pretty solid.
Rusted parts: Cab corners, Hood, Step side step. The bed floor has been replaced with a sheet of plywood. Bolted down and sturdy but needs the wood bed kit for it.
Floors: Have been repaired poorly. Seems to be just in the foot well on both sides, not in to the toe panel. Cab mounts are intact but welded to the poorly done patch panel in the floor.
I have taken pictures of most rust.
Again I have driven it and it goes fine.
