Truck Identification #: 1028CS532541958 GMC Long Bed Big Window TruckNot many of these left. For every 5 Chevrolet trucks there is one GMC truck. A Fresh barn find from southern Oklahoma, in original condition. *Bill of sale only* Mileage is unkown looks like around 120,000. This truck is being posted other places so we reserved the right end auction at any time.
Exterior:This truck looks to have the original Dover white exterior and gray interior. The previous owner painted over the bare areas with a light wash of house paint to preserve the metal and it worked. The overall shape of the body of the vehicle is great with just surface rust on the very irreplaceable long fleetside with no dents or bending behind the wheel wells. The rust issues are in the normal places under the doors on both sides, door pillar on the passenger side, on the top of the cab and in the inside by the back light. (see pictures - please feel free to ask any questions) Cab corners are rust free, as well as the front bottom fenders. The truck has all the emblems including the GMC horn emblem on the original steering wheel. Front grill has some dents that can be easily taken out. Back glass is intact, the driver side window is cracked. All the other glass in good shape. Back bumper is the dealer optioned heavy duty farm option which was common for the era. Truck frame in good shape just surface rust.
Interior:The truck has the V8 Hydra-Matic shifter on the steering column. Original throughout the interior. Bench seat back is ripped with stuffing coming out but it looks like there is still life in the springs. All the knobs and ashtray intact. Only thing missing is the back dome light cover. Rust right below light which is common for these years (see pictures). Looks like dealer installed Climatic Air Custom with a Eureka heater, I have never seen one of these units. Chrome long mirrors
EngineLooks like the original 336 V8 engine with GMC stickers still on the valve covers. Fan turns freely. Cannot guarantee condition. Spicer Hydra-matic automatic transmission. Cannot guarantee the condition. But will try to answer any questions I can on this.
