Car description

INTERNATIONAL AND OVERSEASBUYERS WELCOME! PLEASE CALL ME AT (76O) 8O5-8038 TO BUY IT NOW!SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE. THIS IS NOTA GAME AND IS NOT CHEAP.THANKS AND GOOD LUCK! This is such a cool truck. It is a very nice 1983 GMC Jimmy 4x4 that has been well taken care of and it shows. These are almost identical to the Chevy Blazer Silverado. Most, especially back East trucks, have been used and abused for what they were intended and driven every winter resulting in an enormous amount of rust buckets. NOT THIS ONE!The Jimmy retains it's original factory paintand stripes in good condition. It is very clean and straight. It is completely rust free with the only exception being a couple of tiny, tiny spots under the cowl that I would have to point out to you. It could easily be fixed but I doubt if most people will even notice. I just want to be honest and upfront from the start so you are happy with your new truck. The floorboards and frame are excellent. The tailgate and rear area are excellent and rust free. There is a small scrape on the driver's door. It is minor and did not even really break through the paint. The rear bumper has some minor damage. It is still fine for a driver but you can also get a new/used one for under $150. I have the original Build Sheet and owner's manuals. It came factory equipped with the rare 6.2 Detroit Diesel engine, 31 gallon fuel tank, Rally Wheels, Sierra Classic package, etc. It has power steering and power brakes. The engine is a workhorse and still gets great gas mileage. The Jimmy runs and drives like new. It is smooth, very strong, and goes down the freeway like a new one. It just had a major service done which also included a complete rebuild of the automatic transmission. It shifts perfectly now. So $4000 later, you get the benefit. New tires mounted on the factory Rally Wheels. The interior is original and in good condition. The upholstery has held up well on the front seats but it is not new and is getting thinner. The fold down back seat is excellent. The front headliner sags. The dashpad looks like new. The door panels are in nice condition. Everything works except for the clock which probably stopped working while still on the dealer's lot in 83. This is a very good original not a perfectly restored Concours example so please be realistic with your expectations. It has minor bumps and bruises. That being said, I believe you could look for a long time to finder a better original example. You won't find one that drives better. I do not think the removable top has ever been off of it. Tow your vintage Airstream across the Great Old US of A in style! I am located in Cardiff, California in North County Coastal San Diego. Thanks!
