Ok so here's the story on this truck:Purchased about 9 years ago when my wife was in an accident and her car was totalled. We needed a vehicle quick so I purchased this from my brother. It was an all white work truck with a rusted out bed. 8' bed 3/4 Ton. I replaced the bed and tailgate and next thing you know, it turned into a project! Over the years my dad helped me rebuild her:
- An engine swap (from what we were told was a 70's Impala) that took it from fuel injected to carbureted. The engine had some bottom end work done many years ago.- I had it painted but unfortunately the silver part didn't stick well. As you can see it is peeling off. There are scratches, dents, and dings. This in NOT a show truck. This is a 10 footer for sure... it looks great from 10 feet, but up close you can see it is a truck and has been used as one. That being said, you will be hard pressed to find one in this condition! Virtually no rust (check the photos) and super clean!- It also has an Edelbrock Carburetor, Intake, and Air Cleaner (see pics).- 20" Chrome Wheels with BRAND NEW tires (again see pics)!- I had the transmission rebuilt by Kellen Performance Transmissions in DE (the 700R4 automatic that came with the truck) and had a High Stall Torque Converter and Shift Kit put in.- I had an aftermarket custom exhaust put in which shows some rust and a small hole near the outlet.- Aftermarket taillights (have some stock ones too if you want them)- Brand spanking new Alternator
As you can see from my history I have bought AND sold cars on ebay in the past. I have 100% positive feedback. I try to be as clear and transparent as possible. I welcome any questions before the sale and will do everything I can to help answer them! You are welcome to come check it out as well. That being said... this is a custom "Frankenstein-like" project and there is obviously no warranty and the sale is AS-IS. Please be sure to read the condition description and ask any questions before buying.
If it is sold with the BUY-IT NOW option I will throw in the factory steel wheels and tires (also BRAND NEW tires) and a class 3 trailer hitch! The 2 sets of wheels and tires alone are worth half the BIN price. It is priced to sell as I have too many vehicles and already purchased a new truck. This one is going because I have a baby and wanted an extended cab and 4WD for the winter.
