Up for auction is my 1992 GMC Vandura 1500 shorty cargo van. If you are looking for a shortyto just drive and not work on this might be for you. I purchased the van in January 2015 from the State of Montana.I live in Mesa Az. I flew to Seattle, then drove to Helena. Drove the van from Helena Mt.to Snohomish Wa. in one day. As I recall 600-700 miles. My daughter's boy friend is a mechanic and has his own shop, so I asked him to look it over and do any repairs needed. The lighter didn't work, so he replaced that. New fuel filter, new air cleaner, new wipers and new headlights, and a new CD player. Had to have tunes for the1600 miles road tripto Mesa. The van was a commercial truck enforcement vehicle for most of its years in Montana. Thenthe van wassent to a woman's prison for a couple years. Then was replaced and sold by the state. It runs great. I have never had to do any repairs in the 2+ years I have had it. Just have receipts for emissions, tabs, and oil changes/ tire rotations. The van has tilt steering, cruise control, and air conditioning. The air does not blow cold. I took it to the shop I use here in Mesa (Only a mile away) and was going to have the air repaired. They would not work on the air because the vehicle is over 20 years old so I figured I would use the van on a road trip up to Washington state and have my mechanic up there fix it. His labor is about 50% of what you pay at a shop and he can work on anything. Still have not done that, but I will if it does not sell. I have an express van that has cold A/C so that's what I drive most of the time in the hotter months. The van starts every time. Has never leaked a drop of anything. Wing windows are still tight. Doors don't sag. All the glass is good. All the doors open and close. They lock and unlock. Sliding door opens and closes great. Drives straight down the road. Brakes are good, they don't pull to the side. Transmission shifts just like it is suppose to. It is as dependable as any car on the road. Everything works like itshould. Has 4 matching tires with about 5k miles on them. They look like new. Balanced nicely. Cruised at 75 through much of Nevada. No vibration. Dash is nice. Front floor mats are still in good shape. Had carpet and paneling in the back when I bought it. Just was old and ugly. I have had vans for over 40 years. In the 70's I bought new vans and didthe cool interiors. My youngest son came out to visit from North Carolina and has stayed here in the area. Hard to leave sun and warmalmost everyday. This was his first van interior that he has done. He was too young back when I was doing them to help much. He has experience building houses, but van interiors are a whole new ballgame. We had a good time doing this one together. My job was to watch and advise. Walls are insulated. Center console with the cigar boxdrink holders goes with the van. Lid comes off for storage. If you don't like the wall in from of the sleeping area, it can be removed. The quality paint job is still nice. Body is straight, no dents. Does not show any bodywork anywhere. Undersides of the doors are still factory painted, no rust holes. Van is priced fairly. $500 Non-refundable deposit is due atthe end of the auction. Balance within 72 hours of close of the auction. I will listen to offers until there is a bid.Once there is a bid, the auction will go to the end. The van is sold as-is with no warranty implied or expressed.I do reserve the right to end the auction at any time, for any reason. I will be happy to pick you up at the airport. You really can drive this home and feel like you will get there. I'm sure I forgot somethings, so feel free to ask. Cell is 509-304-7277. My name is Henry.Don't ask me to make a video or totext. They are not on my bucket list! My wife has an e-bay site too. Between them both we have 2700+ positive feedback. For the last 15 years I have sold all my vehicles on e-bay when I found something different that I wanted. We both still work at home, so having 3 vehicles is at least one too many. Thanks for taking the time to read all the bla-bla.
