Selling my 1981 GMC K1500 High Sierra. Bought this as a daily driver 2 years ago. Great truck!
Put all new tires (and spare) on her, and did all the brakes and shocks. She's not so pretty, but she's tough and dependable. Original 305 has been replaced by previous owner with a 1979 Chevy Crate 350 and TH350 3 speed auto transmission. She's got some get-up-and-go!
I moved into the city and it's just too big a vehicle for me. Looking to unload it quickly. For sale locally as well.
I've done:- Tires x 5- Brakes- Shocks- Tune-up- Driver's side door seals- new axels x 2- WARN hubs x 2- front Tie-rods and stabilizer (with alignment and tire balance)- upgrade to bi-xenon headlights- rewired gauges (still needs some finish work)- re-plumbed and vacuum hosed the HVAC- new alternator and battery- All new brakes, bearings, transaxle seals when i purchased- right side new 20 gal tank, left resurfaced existing 16 gallon
Parts not yet installed that will come with the truck:- Passenger side door seals- U-Joints on front propeller shaft- Skid guard on driver's gas tank- Horn button on steering wheel- various trim pieces
Things I know it needs:- rear leaf spring welded- Aux gas tank and all plumbing re-connected (running single tank now).- Has the usual rot in the corners
TMU vehicle with no warranty. As Is sale - All Sales FInal
