Up for sale is my 1949 GMC FC102 pickup. This is a longbed, 5 window custom cab model. It features a professionally rebuilt (1000 miles on engine) 261 inline 6 cylinder engine with two 2 barrel Holley/Weber carbs on an Offenhauser intake. Offy valve cover, Fenton headers and Patrick's shotgun stainless steel dual exhaust. Hellings air filters. Full flow oil filtration with spinoff filter, new radiator, starter, distributor, fuel pump, etc. Electric horn as well as dual tone horns. Original 1949 hood ornament with reproduction plastic wings. New wood bed with some scuffing of the spar varnish in a couple of spots (minor). Body is in good shape with little rust. There are some dents which I chose not to have fixed but could easily be done. Paint is flame red. The front grille and all hood badging are original to the truck and rechromed. Some denting in the grille bars. Amber fog lights. Underbed spare tire rack. New bumpers. Stainless steel hubcaps and trim rings. Michelin radials with 1000 miles on them. Original bed with some dings and dents. Truck has three speed transmission with column shifter. Original torque tube driveline. Transmission has been rebuilt with all new gears and sychronizer, Interior dash is painted black. Rebuilt speedometer and all other gauges work. Reproduction AM/FM stereo radio. Heater and fan work. Cab hood and door air inlets work. Rechromed dash grilles. Actual mileage is unknown but 1,000 miles on new speedometer. This truck was not a frame off total restoration but restored enough to have fun with it everyday. Would be an excellent candidate for a complete restoration or drive it to that car and truck show now!
