Comments:
There are absolutely NO RUST ISSUES on this truck - surface or otherwise. All metal has been cleaned and painted - even the frame, suspension, and backside of body panels - to protect from future rust. The interior of the doors has been treated with WaxOyl to retard any rust as well.
As opposed to many "cosmetic" restorations, this truck was fully disassembled and has been fully restored. That means new rubber seals all around (even the vent windows), and new window felts.
Interior is excellent.Custom billet accelerator pedal & cable linkage.
The exterior door handles are new chrome, as are the interior door handles & window cranks.
Firewall is painted body color and wiring is neat.
Engine is painted Chevy orange with chrome air filter & Chevrolet logo valve covers.
K&N air filter.
Rear end is a GM 10 bolt.
Engine and transmission are in very good shape. Starts on the first turn of the key, and shifts perfectly. Throaty exhaust sounds great.
This truck has that great vintage but restored look, with some modern attitude like blacked out emblems, grille & bumpers - and chrome side exhaust trumpets.
The modern V8 adds needed horsepower, the automatic transmission makes it a pleasure to drive and the front disc brakes stops this beauty...
This is a fresh restoration. It's clean on top as well as underneath!
Disclaimer: as is where is with no existing or implied warranty...Listed locally in Denver, Co so I reserve the right to cancel auction at any time. Looks good, starts, runs, drives, and stops BUT it is still a 65 year old truck. It doesn't have AC, heat, let alone heated seats or navigation. At its core it is a vintage truck with ton of hard work poured into it....
Dirty details:
I do not have a BIN. The reserve is very reasonable.
I will help out of state / country buyers with transport companies load up the truck.
I will not: deliver, accept payments, take credit or trade offers.
I have great positive feedback (99.5%) and over 1000 transactions, so I'm legit and I'd like to keep it that way..
