1952 GMC Panel Truck

Solid panel truck. Surface rust and bondo are apparent in the sheet metal. Wood deck looks to be original and is in excellent shape. The truck was stored in a climate controlled storage unit for 20+ years prior to my purchase of it 2 1/2 years ago. The engine has been pulled and disassembled for inspection. The cylinder walls and block overall are in great shape. No cracks in the block or grooves in the cylinders. The crankshaft can be put right back in with minor Emory cloth surfacing. The camshaft will need machine work or replacement as its lobes are rounded. The truck will need a complete restoration to be operable but it will be a great project for someone with the time and money. With the extraction of the drive train already completed whomever wins the bid will have a head start toward bringing this bad boy back to its former glory.
