1947 GMC FC Flatbed with Tommy LiftThis1947 GMC FC Flatbed truckis in solid, estorable condition. It has been sitting for many years in a desertenvironmentand the only rust is surface discoloration. Theodometerreading is not correct and the mileage of 100,000 has been inserted just to provide a figure. Actual mileage is unknown. Please see below for more details:Body: Solid but in need of restoration. The cab has some minor bumps and dings (see pix). The hood hinges stick and have been soaked with WD-40 (that's why the hood is cracked open in the pix). Paint is peeling and flaking. One of the headlight bezels is missing Tires are very old but hold air and of course the rims are Widowmakers. There are some small bends at the back corners of the hood. The bed is approximately 12 feet long with a very solid diamond plate steel floor. Side racks are included. It is unknown of the tommy lift works. Minor dings to chrome bumper.Interior: Typicaldeterioration, he seat upholstery is brittle with age, llgaugesare intact, he serial number plate on the door is also intact. Floor under the carpet is solid.Engine/Transmission/Rear End: The engine is a 270 standard straight six. Transmission: Syncromesh 4 speed and the rear end is a 2-speed.
