1962 Ford Fairlane 500This car is original numbers matching and complete. All the trim rim rings etc are there (The trim ring for the driver's side rear is in the trunk). Runs and drives just fine (currently driven as my commuter 3x per week). That said it needs to be gone through after all it is 43 years old! Please see the pics. The rear driver's side was hit from the back and the bumper is bent. It needs to be straightened or replaced and this also means it has an Idaho Salvage title. Aside from being old the only other defect is a rust spot on the passenger front lower quarter panel (see picture of it). The motor has an unknown number of miles (OD shows 25K and i'll say 225K below but I do not actually know).Ford 221ci (3.6l) V-83 Speed Automatic transmissionNo power steeringDrum BrakesNo seat belts! (They were an option in 1962 which no one exercised here)Spare rim and tireRepair manual includedYup its original! And one more time so no one is mis-led this vehicle is an excellent candidate for restoration but I do want to stress that it does need to be gone through. Thanks for looking message me any questions.
