1931 Ford Model A Roadster Received this from my father in law about 12 years ago. Since receiving it I have replaced the following items: water pump (new leakless type) new head gasket rebuilt steering new brakes and drums new carburetor manifold exhaust battery replaced generator with new alternator new plugs points distributor cap installed combo water temp / oil pressure gauge. I also have other items included with the sale and they are: set of Model A Ford Mechanics Handbook by Les Andrews Vol 1 thru Vol 3 Restorer’s Model A Shop Manual various other books set of Model A Ford Roadster side curtains never used/installed various parts.
I was told that the restoration was frame up roughly 15 years ago the body has some surface rust with some scratches (see photos). Only issue I see is the rear end has duct tape on it I assume that was done to stop a small drip? Not sure but I can tell you that ever since I have had the truck there has never been a leak from it and the tape does not seem to be wet. My father in law was a big fan of duct tape… J
In closing the truck runs great and purrs comfortably at 35 mph never used or abused the odometer says 94507 I don't know if it has been around or not.
