1935 Ford 3 Window Coupe for Sale 1935. 3 windows are rare birds you don’t see them too often. SOLD AS IS. ANTYQUE RESTORATION PROJECT. SEE DESCRIPTION. I have had this car now for 10 years. I originally got it from the previous owner out of a dry storage unit in North Carolina and it has a clear NC title. At one point I disassemble the front clip. rear fenders and took out most of the interior to start work on the car. the fenders went off to be worked on but the project never got very far do to various reasons and in the time since I got this car I have bought sold and traded over 2 dozen classic cars and vintage motorcycles and this is the last vintage car still in my possession. so I have brought it out and re-assembled the major components in order to sell it. it does not have an engine but still has its original transmission and stock rod & lever 1935 brake system. All tins and components are original as far as I can tell or at least they are the parts that where on the car when I bought it and I believe them to be original to the car. Those smoothie wheel rims and tires where on the car when I bought it and I have never had them off of the car. I have also collected a bunch of original parts for this project from other sources that I am including in the sale. they are mentioned in the description below and will be sent with the car packed in boxes. Car has a clear North Carolina Title. The Car rolls well and steers but does not have an e-brake since the e-brake handle is out of the car. Transporting the car will be the responsibility of the buyer and will need to be done by an expert with the proper type of transport to handle it. I have about a hundred photo’s of the car. many of the car stripped down so you can see it’s body and frame. pans etc. and the fenders off the car. I can send these photo’s in packets of 5 thru the ebay email system to anyone who is interested and contacts me. ( ebay email only lets you attach 5 photo’s at a time to each email so I have to send them in small batches). Also the car is available to be inspected by anyone willing to come and look at it. I am just off the HWY 5 corridor just North of Gustine. about 100 miles from San Fran. and Monterey. 114 miles South of Sacramento and about 300 miles North of Los Angeles. Please do not offer me trades or side deals I will not respond to those emails. You will notice that the front suspension appears to be cocked that is because the old carriage spring in the front has given out on the driver side in fact its actually lost its arch on that side and is drawing the driver side wheel up while still pushing the passenger side wheel down and the spring has lost all of its bounce so the car sits crooked. in the photo’s I have the driver side frame sitting on a jack stand to hold the car level and 1 of the photos show a close up of the spring and you can see the problem with it clearly. this of course isn’t a real problem since anyone rebuilding this car would want to put a new spring in it anyway. The car has a banjo steering wheel and had a radio. the radio unit is gone but the box that mounts under the dash that held the radio comes with the car and the speaker is still in the header as seen in the photos and the dial is still in the dash along with the original gauges for the car and also in the interior all the window rings are present and accounted for. they have some light surface rust on them. The body is in pretty solid shape with some surface rust in spots and lifting paint and some rust in the rocker corners in places that are typical for these models The floor pans have some surface rust that’s a little heavy in spots and has one hole about the size of silver dollar next to where the driver side rear doorframe meets the pan The passenger side door is in great shape and fits good. The driver side door has some problems with the hinges being worn out. but it closes ok. I am including an original set of 35’ door hinges with the car as replacements. both sides have the door glass still installed but the cranks are a little beat up so I am including an OEM/NOS set of window cranks with the car (along with their original card board boxes that are falling apart do to age. but still have their labels on them) photos of all this stuff are available at request. The grill is in really good shape. Its is a standard painted grill not the deluxe chromed unit and has only some very slightly warped bars on the bottom (overall very straight and solid) and some slight surface rust near the bottom. All Fenders where stripped of paint and the front ones had some patches put in near the back rocker side on both sides as well a few spots near the front. The REAR fenders never got finished and both sides have spots near the running boards that where cut out to be repaired but it never happened. also the passenger side rear tip has some been beat up a little and needs to be repaired. rear fenders are about 90% very good and about 10% pretty bad (ask for photo’s) Radiator is in good shape in fact I had it re-cored at one point but since then has gotten a little banged up in the fins in some spots. but its overall condition is very good and has been kept dry. The rumble seat lid is in good solid shape. some one in the past lost the original shims/stiffeners that go under the hinge mount on the side walls of the back deck and replaced them with some home made ones that keep it from sitting just right and they need to be replaced for a correct fit. I am also including a set of original hinges that can be used to convert it into a trunk lid instead should you wish. Original e-brake handle is off the car but comes with itOriginal spare wheel carrier bracket is off the car but comes with it (see photo) No spare tire ring cover Original tail light stands are on the car and complete Original horns and hardware are off the car but come with it Original headlights and stands are off the car but come with it. buckets and rims are in good shape(missing the head light brace that mounts to the frame and supports the headlights. I believe they make re-pops of these for the 35’-36’ and have seen several in good shape sell on Ebay) I hope that I have described this car in enough detail for buyers to get a feel for the condition of the car and am willing to talk too and see people in person when ever possible. remember. one mans treasure is another mans trash. ask questions and understand what you are getting. this car needs a lot of restoration and work and is sold as is. Preferred Payment method is bank to bank wire transfer within 5 business days Please Pickup and transportation is the responsibility of the buyer and the buyer must make any transporter aware of the condition of the car (no engine or e-brake etc) I recommend that the car be transported in an enclosed trailer at all times. One last time Car is sold in as is condition with the understanding that all sales are final and once payment is received and car is picked up it becomes the sole responsibility of the buyer. Thank you
