1966 Mustang convertible V8 automatic power steering power brakes power top This is a true barn find. This mustang was driven into the barn in the late 70s. The owner has had this car since 1967 was her first car after collage. She got married and started a family and the car was too small for them so they parked it with the intentions of using the car again. Now 48 years later it’s time for the car to go to someone that will restore it. The original owner will be more than happy to explain more history if you like. There is some documentation with the car showing they owned the car from 1967 on. The title was put in the married couples name in 1969 and they have lived at the same address all these years. Completely original. with a 289 two barrel with automatic transmission. It has power steering. power brakes. power top and the radio still works. The motor still runs!!! Never in an accident. original paint. And 73000 original miles. This car is well worth restoring. Hard to find a mustang that’s so original like this one. It will need rust repair. For sure the rear frame rails. floors. inner rockers and front toque boxed. the cowl has no rust. and front frame rails are very usable. No holes in the shock towers. Just before it was parked it had all new brakes so the car rolls just fine. I have not tried to drive the car yet but the engine runs. The car is a restoration project. Shipping will be the buyer responsibility but I am more the happy to help load and recommend a car transportation company if needed.
