This is Frankie. my 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe. I purchased him from the second owner in 2009. who had only kept the car for 1 year. This car was built in San Jose. CA and spent it's life there until 2008. The original owner restored the car in 2004. adding the rallye pack gauges. dual exhaust. Custom Auto Aire a/c. Power Disc Brakes. Stereo. LED lights. swapped the seats to 1968 Mustang seats. repainted the car from Sage Green to 1967 Lime Gold Metallic. added the rally wheels and GT trim. The motor and transmission were rebuilt at this same time. The 2nd owner moved to Wyoming shortly after purchasing the car and didn't want to keep it in that climate. The car has ZERO rust issues and appears to have always been garaged. I drove the car from Wyoming back to Central Texas when I purchased it - without a hitch. A few months after getting it home. it started popping valve springs due to flat spots on the cam. I had the motor completely rebuilt. The temp gauge showed the car running hot and the a/c wasn't cooling the car well enough. so I upgraded the radiator and water pump. It turns our the gauge was bad. and the a/c issue was a blocked drain line. The car does not overheat and the a/c works great now. I removed the problematic alarm system. I did replace the power steering gear box with a Flaming River unit. the car is very tight going down the road. I would literally drive this car across county tomorrow with no reservations. The odometer reads 22k miles - I'm sure the car has turned over at least once. The motor rebuild was 15k miles ago and I've had not issues with it since. Doesn't leak fluids and doesn't use oil. I have a couple of YouTube videos you can watch. if you drop me a note I will send you the link. The car is for sale Locally in Central Texas. so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Good luck!
