1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible 2-Door 390 V-8

I recently acquired this beautifully restored rare Silver Mink with Red interior 1964 Thunderbird convertible. It has less than 500 miles on the complete engine rebuild and transmission. The previous owner spent 3 years meticulously restoring this beauty. I have about $20. 00 in receipts for parts over the last few years. In addition. since I bought it I spent $1. 00 on interior work such as re-dying the front seats. floor mats and exterior waxing/detailing. CHECK OUT THE PHOTOS. all recent. The underneath and engine is as clean and new as the photos show. The top works perfectly. The previous owner put in a manual choke. the Bird starts instantly and then purrs. The engine was rebuilt to resemble and perform like the 1968 Mustang 390S of the Steve McQueen Bullitt car. It has more horsepower than the advertised 300. The car handles and cruises extremely well. A modern AutoSound stereo system was installed. The door locks work but the automatic power locking system. which works off a vacuum choke. was disabled when the manual choke was installed. The tilt wheel works well. The lacquer Silver Mink paint job is nearly flawless. no issues to speak of. The car has new wire wheels and the radial tires are white and red-striped which really highlight the color combination of the car. Nice car cover included. Car is ready to go and show!WHY AM I SELLING? Just found the car I've been looking for for years; have 6 classics including this Big Bird. something has to go. Out of room and I'll be 67 next month and it's just too much for me to handle and keep them all exercised as cars are meant to be driven IMO. Reserve is set low.
