1983 Ford Mustang GLX 5.0L 4-speed manual! NO RESERVE

Here you go folks. up for sale for the first time anywhere. with NO RESERVE. and only 99. 73 original miles is my 1983 Ford Mustang GLX 5. 0L 4-speed manual. These little Foxes are getting harder to find in nice shape! And it's a loaded 5. 0L V8 stick drop top too!!!This is one of only 993 Black convertibles built for the 1983 model year. I have owned this nice little 32 year old Stang for a few years and have maintained & inproved it as I will describe. Used only during the warmer months. it has been my fun car I have used to enjoy the sun shine & warm weather when the power operated top is lowered. Used just for pleasure. never work. to go to the Saturday night ice-cream cruse or day trip down the shore. The car spent 75% of its life in Fort Lauderdale Florida. so rust is no issue on the Mustang! A true original sirvivor that has the unadulterated 5. 0L V8 engine that still runs strong. & its factory ordered 4-speed makes this Stang really zip. it's really a fun & easy car to drive. again is bone stock with NO modifications / hot rod parts added. All original engine components are still installed. no pollution controls have been removed. I did have the factory Holly carburetor used by FoMoCo for 1983 professionally rebuilt. the engine idles smooth as silk. The battery was replaced 15 months ago. & a full engine tun up was done. The original full exhaust system with the factory twin tip is still on the car. and all is tight and solid. B. F. Goodrich comp tires radials on 15 inch 1985'-86' Mustang GT rims really improves the stance over the original skinny 14' versions. Steering & suspension are great. it rides & steers like a champ. It's gleaming deep black mostly original paint shows off nicely with the red pinstripes The new convertible top was replaced seven months ago. and it replaced the ORIGINAL white top! Yea. thats right. the ORIGINAL top was still on this car for all those years. I also replaced the top pads and cables. I included some photos of the car with the original top still on. before I replaced it just to show you it still with the original! The car shows nicely. but mine you it is NOT a show car. but is is a nice surviving example of a four eyed early 80's drop top V8 manual Mustang. The red Interior is also all original and includes red vinyl seats. full white instrumentation. nbsp;wood grain dash panel with full console with low fluid & lights out warning message center. The A/C blows icy cool. thats because I had the A/C completely gone over and converted to the newer R134a freon. so no problems for future charges. Original red floor mats included as well as the red conv. top boot. Working Factory Ford a/m f/m/ cassette player with Fords premium sound system power amp. Cruse control works & is nice to use on the highway. P/s. P/front disk brakes. a/c. cruse. Original spare tire & jack never removed or used. This Stang really turns heads. when on the road or in parking lots. it get thumbs ups. & folks come up to me & say its in such great shape. "WOW" they say. it takes me back to the 80's. with "I can remember stories of back in the day. "So there you have it. nbsp;a chance to own nicely optioned. adult owned. well cared for. pampered. sporty 1983 Ford Mustang GLX convertible 5. 0L 4-speed manual. that has not had the paints beat off it! So this might be your only chance to own such a nice one. Recent rebuild & or maintenance include. rebuilt carburetor. full tune up. a/c unit retro fitted to newer freon. oil changed. nbsp;battery replaced. Upgrades include. 1985/86 15' rims. 83 GT hood scoop. white gauge over lays. nbsp;professional tint on of all windows & top of the windshield. New rubber weather striping for roof window seals comes with the car when sold. Full discloser of items of note. nbsp; a loose radio antenna. It does have some door dings from parking lots. & scratches that have been touched up. paint is thinning on fender corners and rear bumper. but the body & paint are still very nice and presents very nicely for its age. it took 32 years to look this good. Oil. amp. & temp gauges do not function. but the gas gauge. tack. & speedo/odometer all function as new. When the car is not driven daily. a puff of blueish smoke come from the exhaust upon start up. then goes away. My mechanic states that it is because the valve guides have hardened over the years. so small amounts of oil seeps buy the valves guides after it sits for a time. He says it won't hurt anything. but is more of an annoyance than anything. When driven daily. this does not occur. Again this engine has never been torn apart for major repairs. so original is what you're getting. There is some separation of the upholstery in the stitches on the drivers lean back of the seating area. as well as the passenger side seat & rear seat bottoms. cracks in the speaker area of the dash but very minor.
