I found this Ford Model A town Sedan in a storage unit locally here at a farm in Waterville Iowa after being stored for over 40 years. I actually went to buy a 1929 right hand drive model a pick up when I saw this stored with it. The owner. who is the grandson of the titled owner . ould not sell it to me as it was a family heirloom. After continual prompting by my part. I was finally able to buy it 15 years ago. I pulled it out and trailered it to my local Model a mechanic who restores model A's and asked him if he would do a full restoration and get it running. He told me he would get back with me after going through the car to consult how far to take it. He had it running and washed and it drove like a dream. In his opinion. the paint is mostly original as well as the original pin stripping and interior. He told me I would be CRAZY to do anything besides mechanical as it has such a great look being original. He went through the car completely mechanically and addressed any issues that would be a concern. I left the car 100 percent in original condition. I have taken it to many Model A car shows and the true Model A enthusiast have told me what a rare find this original murray body Model A town Sedan really is. Even the pull down shades are there and operate and they are original. As you can see from the pics and video. the headliner has some wear (mouse holes here and there etc) and the interior cloth is original and in great shape. The wood on the car is all good. The doors as video shows. open andf shut tight with no sag. The windows go up and down. All of the lights. horn. guages work. Even the interior light above the key works. The cowl lights work. It is a numbers matching engine to title and as the video shows with me pointing at the murray body serial number on the cowl. Whoever buys this car. will be getting a great driving ready to cruise original Model A. I am setting the reserve below what I was told this car should be worth to ensure a sale. I am selling her due to some knee problems which makes it very difficult to shift. Let the pics and video show you what this Model A is.
