1968 Mustang California Special 4sp Air Nut and Bolt Restoration

This 1968 California Special Mustang just received a nut and bolt restoration by Randy Roberts of Owasso. klahoma. He is known for his concourse restorations on Boss and Shelby mustangs. It is a very rust free example having been produced and sold in California. There were 4118 California Specials built but rare to find one with the desirable J code engine(302-4bbl) and even more rare to find one with a factory 4speed. I added a Vintage Air unit for comfort as well as an aluminum radiator for improved cooling. The pristine heat shield is also indication of the rust free nature of this car as the thin sheet metal parts deteriorate quickly. The tires are new. s are the wheels. You can see from the bottom detail pictures that everything is new. The flow master Exhaust sounds great and this car runs great and shifts smoothly. All mechanical components have been gone thru.
