DEFROST SYSTEM - I INSTALLED AN OLD AIR HURRICANE SYSTEM THAT IS SPECIFICALLY ENGINEERED FOR 64 - 65 FALCONS AND MUSTANGS. IT IS AN ALL ELECTRONIC SYSTEM WITH CONTROLS LOCATED WHERE THE STOCK HEAT AND DEFROST CONTROLS WERE. THE STOCK 260 V8 GENERATOR BRACKET WORKED PERFECTLY FOR THE COMPRESSOR MOUNTING. THE SYSTEM HAS A NOSTALGIC LOOKING UNDER DASH A/C OUTLET AND WORKS VERY WELL. THE CAR IS COMFORTABLY COOL EVEN ON 95+ DEGREE HIGH HUMIDITY KANSAS DAYS. HAS A CUSTOM CONDENSER WITH TWO 6 INCH ELECTRIC AUXILIARY FANS ON A MANUAL SWITCH WHICH ARE NOT NEEDED EXCEPT ON THE HOTTEST DAYS. INTERIOR - WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR THE INTERIOR UPOLSTERY HAD BEEN RESTORED USING A DEARBORN CLASSICS KIT. I FOUND THE FRONT SEAT TO BE UNCOMFORTABLE AND PROBABLY NOT VERY SAFE. I REPLACED IT WITH SUPER COMFORTABLE 8 WAY ADJUSTABLE POWER LEATHER BUCKET SEATS FROM A 2006 GTO IN LIKE NEW CONDITION ( I HAVE THE HEADRESTS). I ALSO ADDED MODERN RETRACTABLE SEAT BELTS. I HAVE A NEW MOLDED BLUE CARPET THAT NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED. THE DRIVER'S ARM REST NEEDS TO BE RECOVERED OR REPLACED. THE ORIGINAL FRONT SEAT IS INCLUDED IN THE SALE IF YOU WANT IT.
