2 door 1968 Ford Cortina MK II Deluxe 1600 4 speed Triumph,Datsun, Toyota, Mini

Complete 1968 Ford Cortina MK II with 1600 Kent cross-flow motor and 4 speed transmission. This is a 2 DR deluxe and not a GT model. Car is complete and nothing is missing. Just had head redone and engine works fine and transmission shifts smoothly. Brakes and clutch work properly. All lights. horn. wipers and even radio works. The body is straight and solid but does have some rust spots primarily at the bottom of the fenders. in the rear wheel well and on the underside of the car. Floor pans and rockers are solid. Tires are in good condition with lot of wear left on them. Original paint color as you can see in the trunk and under the hood. Seats are in good condition with some wear on the drivers side. Shocks are spongy so will have to be replaced. Fuel tank will also need cleaning. The weather strips are shot but all glass is good with no cracks. Obviously tie rod ends and suspension and steering linkages and bushings will need to be changed as there is play in the steering. This is a good restoration project that is truly unique. This car was not produced for the US market so was imported from England by an enthusiast. I Was going to restore this one as they are now so rare and only a few can still be found. However I do not have the money to complete this one properly. I will let it go for a fair price. Not in a hurry to sell so bid only if you can afford to purchase.
