My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is my 1990 Ford F-Super Duty rollback. I've had this truck for a year or so and it has been very good to me. I currently run this truck as well as a Ford (I'm a Ford Guy) single axle daycab truck with a wedge trailer. I recently purchased a 4 car rollback to replace this truck and my tractor trailer so I only have to register/insure/maintain one truck. Otherwise. this truck would not be for sale. As you can see. this truck is in good shape for its age. It was originally used by a local salvage company as a part of a large fleet. They upgraded to heavier trucks and sold off all of their lighter rollbacks. The cab looks good. If you look closely. you'll see a few small spots or rust but nothing bad. and far less than usual for a truck of this age. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The healights are crystal clear. The frame rails are smooth and clean. The tool boxes also show well and are not all rotted out. The rear tires are a mixed set but have okay tread. The steer tires were just replaced and have less than 1. 00 miles on them. The bed looks good and measures 17. 5' long. The slides should be greased before putting it into service this season. The truck also has a stinger with a tow bar. I had intended to remove the tow bar attachment and upgrade it to a wheel lift but never got around to it. The bed has dual side controls (both sides work). The interior shows pretty well for an older rollback. The door panels are clean and tight. The dash shows well. too. The carpets show well for their age. The bench seat is comfortable and has no holes or visible wear. The headiner is clean. The original owners manual is included. In the instrument cluster. everything works except the coolant temp and fuel gauge. which is normal with an old Ford. The radio has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player which has never turned on. I never bothered pulling it out to figure it out. The heater works fine. The truck is a/c equipped but it doesn't blow cold. The windows roll up and down easily. I will include the mounted fire extinguisher as well as the triangles so you're legal to drive it home. You'll have to get your own straps. ect. Mechanically. this truck has been good to me. The 7. 3L IDI engine starts right up and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I replaced the exhaust and sway bar end links for inspection last year. I was told I'd have to replace the front brakes for next inspection. The truck has a current PA safety inspection good through the end of October. 2015. The engine runs like it should. Her road manners are pretty good for a 25 year old Ford. The suspension. steering and brakes feel good. She drives straight down the road. The clutch feels okay. The transmission is a little notchy. like most of these are at this age. but it shifts through all the gears. Please keep in mind that this is an old truck. It makes some vibrations. rattles and such when you're at highway speed. It has always been perfectly reliable for me. It always starts and has never left me sit. She has always done whatever I've asked her to do. I used it locally and would recommend that you do the same. If you know these trucks. you know that they like to buzz down the highway at about 55-60. It'll do 65-70 but you have to push it hard to stay with traffic and I don't like running it that close to the governor for long. The PTO engages easily and runs quietly. All of the hydraulics work properly and I've never had to add fluid to it. I recently replaced the main hydraulic line. If you want a rollback but can't justify dropping $20-30. 00 for a newer one. one like this is what you want. It's not the fastest or best looking one out there. but she is reliable and cheap.
