1946 FORD SUPER DELUXE CONVERTIBLE CUSTOM(over 50 HDR pictures below-scroll down)I'm helping sell this for a friend who is not computer savvy. and I'll do my best to describe it. Feel free to contact me if you need more info about the car. Very Nice 1946 Super Deluxe Ford convertible. it's had an extensive frame-off rotisserie customization/restoration. It has a Ford 302 5. 0 EFI engine/C4 auto trans and Ford 8 inch rear axle. and Mustang II front end with power disk brakes/rack and pinion steering. This is an older build. nbsp;and was built sometime between 1992-1997 in the Las Vegas area. and was brought to Texas around 2005. I don't know who built it. but who ever it was. they did a pretty good job on all aspects of the build at the time. The body was removed from the frame and painted inside and out. including the bottoms of the floor pans. It looks like it has always been a solid rust-free car. I cant find any evidence there has ever been any rust anywhere. Overall. the paint still looks pretty good for being about 20 years old. but there are 2 areas that have recently begun to crack along the body lines on the RH quarter panel(see pictures below). and a small dime sized chip on the trunk. and a few small chips on the frontal areas from being driven. The paint should shine up nicely with a good buff job/detail. but looks fine as is. The taillight frenching was nicely done. It's a blue/greenish teal color. nbsp;I don't know if it's the original color or not. All of the stainless trim/chrome was all re-done and still looks great. The soft top is still in great shape. and goes up and down without issue(it stays down most of the time). Mechanically. the car runs and drives pretty good. and could probably be driven anywhere. It's been pretty reliable over the years and is a very drivable car. It was built to show car and be a weekend driver too. It's been kept in a climate controlled garage. when not in use. The current odometer reads 19. xx miles. and i'm pretty sure that's the miles since completion. Seems very likely. as that's about 1k miles/yr average. Total mileage on the car since 1946 is unknown. It has a working aftermarket vintage air type A/C system(gotta have A/C in Texas). It has a power window conversion kit. but the passenger side door window is slow/not working. and the driver side is slow too. but goes up/down normally by pulling up/down on the window glass during operation. Both powered quarter glass windows roll up/down fine as intended. The door vent "wing" windows are manual. and are also work as intended. The rest of the interior is nice and still in decent shape. there is a 1 inch tear between the pleats of the lower front seat seat fabric. but it's not very noticeable. It has Autometer gauges. and I'm pretty sure all of them are working. I believe the speedometer is fairly accurate. but I didn't GPS it. The tires. and wheels are in good shape. and it stops pretty well too. Feel free to contact me if you need anymore info. 972-591-8119(call or text ok)This car has a clean/clear Texas title. It's in hand. nbsp;ready to be signed over. The reserve is considerably under market. and is being priced much less today than it sold for over 10 years ago. This is an excellent investment opportunity for someone. With very little work(paint repair on quarterpanel. and window motors and some detailing/updating) this could be a $35k+ car again.
