1986 Ford F-250 4X2 V8 with 67,530 miles. I Bought this beauty from the State of California Corrections Department. They told me it was used at Folsom State Prison and never really left the grounds since new. It just passed smog and is currently registered through Jan 2022.
I was hoping to restore it some but sadly I will not have the time this winter after all. Hate to let this Bullnose go but hoping someone out there can give it what it needs. It runs well and drove fine coming back from Davis, CA this past month. The main mechanical issue I am aware of is that both fuel filler necks are falling apart. I've only used the front tank (it has two tanks) and when I filled it up there was a leak coming out of the fuel neck but not the tank itself. I put some seal-all on there and it has temporarily stopped the problem.
It has its fair share of bumps and bruises as you can see in the pictures but the frame is solid. Rust isn't really much of an issue here in California since it is a salt-free state. As you can see the driver door panel is missing and you cannot open it from the inside unless you put your hand down in there. There is no tailgate or rear bumper. The gear indicator does not work but it goes into all gears no problem. Radio does not seem to work. The original blue dash was starting to crumble so I threw this tan one on. You can have the original one if you would like, but it's rough.
Heat works, but I haven't tested the AC. Tires and brakes are decent but I'd get them checked out if you are looking to drive it a long distance or cross country just to be safe. The bed is 8 feet long with plenty of space. As far as shipping goes, you'll be responsible for paying for and organizing that. Please see all pictures for details and holler if you would like to see more pictures or have any questions. Thank you so much for looking!
