Car description |
---|
1987 Ford Crown Victoria LTD, 2D. One out of only 5,000 two doors manufactured in 1987. Condition is "Used". 7,728 original (documented) miles. This is a true barn find. Original paint. Absolutely no rust, not even a scratch in the paint. This car is in pristine condition. No tears or rips in the upholstery. A couple of stains on the floor mats. Recently replaced all four shocks with KYB High Performance Shocks, A/C Compressor, Front Calibers and Brakes and fuel pump. I saved all the original parts. These were the things that needed to be replaced after the car sat for so many years. It is now very reliable and dependable and ready to drive anywhere.
This car drives like a dream. Very smooth on the roads. History, first owner bought it and put it into his collection of cars. Daughter inherited car, kept it for 10 years. She finally sold the car to a friend of her father's, who bought it and added to his collection of cars, which he kept for 8 years. I purchased in last year from him. This car has always been garage/barn kept. Literally a time capsule. There is absolutely no dry rot because the car has always been kept in a climate controlled environment. It even has the original air filter, which is still clean. Look at the picture of the coil spring, it still has the factory tag on it.
The only thing that doesn't work on the car is the gas gauge, because the mechanic did not hook the wire back up to the new fuel pump. This car even has the original spark plug wires. The car is just too nice to put into words. It truly is a barn find, one of a kind.
When I titled the vehicle from Connecticut to Florida, because of the year of the vehicle, Florida marked the mileage as exempt. However, I do have the CarFax information on the vehicle, which documents the original mileage at the time of my purchase, which was 6,100. Any mechanic can verify that this mileage is accurate on the car. Any questions call Barry 813-571-2961
