Car description

1954 Ford F-350 pickup truck - “Jack of All Trades”! I did a quick video on this truck about a year ago after it came in and then it got put off to the side. A few weeks ago I got it back out and cleaned it up and really looked it over. I was amazed by what I found out when I looked this truck over closely. All of these old vehicles have their own story, the history of the lives they lived and what they did and accomplished. This truck has been modified, but not the way we think of modifying today. Every modification on this truck served a purpose. This one was a workhorse. He did the job and did it well. The modifications to this truck are super cool, and they were all done for a reason - to get the job done. This old pickup is super solid and it’s amazing it wasn’t parted out years ago to restore a 1/2 ton. So many of these trucks were sacrificed to save 1/2 tons and very few of these survived in this state, just as they were set up to work. This old truck is pretty much still in the same condition as the last time the key was shut off and that is what makes it so awesome! It’s a super cool truck, so let’s take a close look at it! I have a posted a full walk around video of this truck on my YouTube channel on the "Nobody's Show" Channel. E-bay typically does not like links, so I did not post the link to avoid issues with this listing. Be sure to watch the video so you can see all of the super cool "features" that were added to this truck. I do have a clean, current Kansas title on the truck. Anyone with more questions or anyone who wants to make arrangements to see the truck in person can call me at 620-786-4428.

Body - The body on this truck is really good for its age. It has a little rust in the running boards, a little in the fenders and I found a few small spots in the cab. I tried to point most of these areas out in the video. It also has typical dings and dents from years of use. The cab has not been cut or modified except for a couple of control points coming up through the floor. The front end has had a grill guard and tow bar added. The bed has been modified. The rear wheel wells have been extended into the bed to apparently allow for duals in the back. Since the fenders have not been widened, I think you could also just run a normal wheel and run singles if you chose to. The rear bumper is custom built with steps on the sides, a heavy duty hitch, and attaching points for poles, yes, I believe this was also set up so you could use it as a winch truck. The pole mounts are on the heavy duty bumper, there is a mounting point for a pulley in the middle at the back of the bed, and a headache rack in the back of the bed. The bed also has a custom built box at the front. The box has a heavy brace on the bottom where the winch mounted and the R side of the box is for storage. The tailgate is original, but it has had a door cut into it to release grain. The original tail gate chains are still there, but the custom rear tail light panels also incorporated heavy duty tail gate latches. The L side of the bed features a spare tire mount and the R side of the bed has a grain blower mounted on it.

Interior - The interior is intact except the radio is gone. The seat is there, but will need restored. The rest of the dash is still intact. The dash has had a large clip added to the top to hold important paperwork and there is also a small tray that has been mounted to the top of the dash to hold small items.

Drivetrain - This truck does have a Y Block V-8 in it and it appears to be the original one. It has not run in years and I don't know anything about the condition of any of the drivetrain. The radiator is the only thing I see missing under the hood. It does roll and steer fine, so it will load easily.

Overall this is a really cool truck that really shows us a great look into the past about what these trucks were and how they did their jobs! Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs. I do have a broker that I can put interested buyers in touch with to help make shipping arrangements. A non-refundable $1000.00 deposit is due within 10 days of the end of the auction. The balance is due before the truck is picked up or in cash at that time. The buyer has 60 days of free outside storage at the buyers risk. After 60 days a storage fee will apply unless other arrangements have been made prior to the purchase. If storage exceeds what has been paid on the truck, ownership will revert back to me. If you have more questions, just give me a call, no texts. Thanks for looking, Chad 620-786-4428
