Car description

Up for auction is a 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2. Rotisserie restored 6 years ago by, Mustang Restorations, the largest restorer of Mustangs in the USA. It has basically been parked ever since.

This car is rust free and Bondo free. At the time of the restoration, almost everything was new except for the rear glass and some of the wiring harness. Interior is new as well.

Recently added the Shelby Billet grill and lights to compliment the steel Shelby Hood.Added the mat black decal with a mat red outline that it now sports.Added the satin black wrappers over the perfect bumpers. Both the decal and bumper wraps can be easily removed. Finally, added the Shelby sail panel scoops.

New 17-inch American Racing wheels have been custom finished to match.

The paint job is outstanding. It has a great shine and is free from scratches. The body fit and finish is very good. All the margins are equal.

It was originally a C-cope with a C-4 automatic transmission. It now is sporting a fresh 302 with a mild cam, Holley 4 barrel carb, electronic ignition and dual exhaust. Transmission is now a Tremec 5-speed manual.

The drive train is very nice. It handles nicely with its rack and pinion front suspension. It has power brakes front and back. It sounds really good too.

It comes with many of the original parts including the original hood and sail panel scoops.
