Car description

Gorgeous Crown Victoria. This is one of only 1999 glass roof skyliners made. Exceptionally well restored and has some very desirable upgrades- air conditioning, power 4 wheel disc brakes and more.
EXTERIOR: One of the prettiest cars of all time in my opinion. The Crown Victoria is the top of the line, fully decked out including the stainless "basket handle" going over the top. This is one of the original Skyliners (designated in the vin #) see through roof. The glass top is new and crystal clear. Overall the body, paint, glass and trim is exceptional. This car really looks better than most. The body is straight, I just looked on both sides. There are no signs of rust or damage. Repainted it's original torch red and snowshoe white. Polished to a very smooth, glossy finish. What really brings it to the next level is all the trim is sparkling. Up front the hood ornament, emblem, grill, bumper, bumper guards, headlight eyebrows all look new. The sweeping stainless moldings down the sides, all around the windows, over the roof and on the rockers look like they're new. The door handles, dual mirrors and antennas look new. In back the tail lights, bumpers, bumper guards look new. The glass is lightly tinted, side glass looks new. All the rubber gaskets around the windows and weather strips around the doors have been replaced. The door jambs are painted nicely, sill plates are shiny. It rolls on a set of 16 inch polished wheels.
INTERIOR: It looks like it's been completely redone. The red and white upholstery and door panels were replaced. It has new red seat belts in front. It really looks like all of the interior chrome is new to, it sparkles. There are alot of chrome moldings around the inside of the windows and roof. The handles, window cranks, horn ring, bezels on the dash all look new. The gauges and lenses look new. The metal is repainted real nice. It has a very unique stereo that's round and fits right where the factory radio was. The air conditioning is neatly installed below the dash. It has an owner's manual in the glove box. I've never looked up through a glass top that was as crystal clear as this one.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has it's original 272 Y block motor, correct casting codes and dates. Im sure it was rebuilt, it looks clean and runs smooth. It has factory power steering. Upgraded with power brakes and a dual reservoir master cylinder. It also has a modern heat and air conditioning system. Keeping the motor cool is an oversized aluminum radiator with a motor fan and an auxiliary electric fan. The motor compartment is cleaned up very neatly and looks proper. The metal surfaces are smooth and painted.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's a very clean trunk compartment, painted snowshoe white under the trunk lid and the wheel wells. It has a two piece carpeted liner with bound edges and a matching cover over the tire. The spare is a chrome baby moon wheel with a tire thats never been used. It also looks like it has a complete jack assembly. The weather strip and back seat divider look new.
UNDERSIDE: The bottom of this car looks very clean. The entire chassis is smooth metal that has a nice semi gloss black finish. The floors are all solid metal. Up front has new sway bar and bushings, tie rods. The shocks look new front and back. The fuel tank looks new. It has a custom dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. It has a major upgrade to the brakes, it has Wilwood disc at all four corners. Looking up at the motor and transmission they both look clean and fresh. The Ford-o-matic has its original tag riveted to it. The 3.31 rear end still has it's original tag.
This car makes my pulse get quicker, i just love it. It is a thing of beauty that's exceptionally clean. The features make it comfortable to drive. The glaas top ads a cool factor and makes it a proven strong investment. I don't see a down side!
