This 1958 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan has a great vintage style, proper V8 power, distinct features, and a well-coordinated two-tone inside and out. It all makes for a stand out cruiser even before you check out the price.
1958 was a great year for the Fairlane. It carries a lot of design cues from its square Thunderbird relative, but the larger cars also had their own rounded style elements like the c-pillar and arched tail-fins that run the entire back half of the car. The new aggressive styling features quad headlights, and for this year only, a hood scoop. Like a good 1950s machine, there's chrome in all the right places - including the wide grille that makes this Ford look like it wants to own the road. We also love the blue and white two-tone that has all the appeal of a sunny summer sky. The color-matched wheels with whitewall tires mean this even rolls with its two-tone!
The interior continues the color theme with bright white seat with blue tuck and roll style inserts. There's even two-tone door panels, a white parcel shelf, and white headliner to make this a uniform total package. Of course, the carpeting is still in black to make it easy to hop in and go for a drive. This makes for a great vintage cruiser, especially with all the classic details on the dash. You really don't often see them in this well-preserved condition because over time knobs, buttons, and the hard to find chrome trim goes missing. This even has the correct AM radio and a very cool looking air conditioning unit (those are currently good-looking displays that would need servicing to fully function again.)
The 292 cubic-inch V8 looks good with the big/bright air grabber and matching Ford valve covers. Plus, it has nice supporting pieces like a newer brake booster, steel braided lines, and an aluminum radiator. The V8 fires up nicely as it inhales through a four-barrel carburetor. And the updated Flowmaster dual exhaust gives it a good V8 tune. The total package makes a fine driver with a two-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes.
This is a terrific vintage Ford with cool details and a great cruising attitude. This is the classic for someone who likes to attract all the right kind of attention. Call today!!!
