BEAUTIFUL 1933 FORD 3-WINDOW COUPE, ZZ4 350, 700R4, VETTE SUSP. EX. COND video

For sale by a private party is this beautiful custom built one-of-a-kind chopped 1933 Ford 3-window coupe painted in a 2-stage urethane House of Colors “Blackout Maroon”. The car was originally built for multi-millionaire John Staluppi and shown in his “Cars of Dreams” museum in Florida.

The Coupe was built by Wes “Doc” King of the Adams Rod Shop in southern Florida and has an Outlaw fiberglass body, grille, and rear fenders along with steel front fenders and running boards. It is titled as a 1933 Ford.

In 2012 this car was auctioned off from the Staluppi collection as part of a 110-car event at a price in excess of $88,000. It is believed to be on its third owner who purchased the car in 2016. Since completion, the ’33 has always been garaged and only been driven a total 15,500 miles, of which only 1000 were logged in the past 4 years.

Power comes from a 350 c.i. Chevrolet ZZ4 400 h.p. crate motor with dual Edelbrock 500 cfm carburetors; an MSD distributor & ignition system; bolted to a Rossler prepared 700R4 automatic transmission with a 2500 stall converter. Cooling is handled by a Be Cool radiator system with electric fans.

The custom frame is a hand-built tubular item and uses a C4 Corvette aluminum front and rear independent suspension components. The 3.90:1 posi-traction rear is held in place using a four link. While coil over shocks are on all 4 corners. Wilwood 4-wheel non-power disc brakes handle the stopping power while custom Budnick wheels and 195 x 50R x 15 Fusion radial tires are upfront and Hoosier Quick Time 31 x 16.5 x 15 are on the rear.

The 6-way power seats, door panels, and trunk are done in a beautiful saddle tan leather with a matching plush carpet. The custom dash uses Autometer gauges and Vintage Air A/C & heat to keep the cabin comfortable. Another custom touch is the overhead auxiliary panel with toggle switches for lights, wipers, and electric fan, as well as the AM/FM/CD player for the 6-speaker stereo.

The ’33 Ford starts easily and runs great. It draws a crowd wherever it goes and is a multiple show winner. No disappointments.

Observations: The driver’s side power window does operate but needs some adjusting because it is slow going up. Also, the windshield wiper needs to be reconnected and have a new switch. Additionally, there are a few chips, see photos. Otherwise the car is in excellent condition.
