Car description |
---|
Super early production budd body bronco. This half cab was built in November 1965. Besides the hood it has it's original Marlin Blue paint, this would buff out nicely and you could paint match the hood if you wanted mostly original paint. Came from the factory with 4.11 gears front and rear axles. Still has the complete original drivetrain 6 cylinder 170cid with the 3 speed manual. These early production models are extremely rare and highly sought after. We have not attempted to start or drive it. The engine bay is unmolested, no cut wires. Has a spare 170cid engine in the bed, we know zero about it, consider it a spare core if needed.
* The half cab top is basically perfect, was professionally restored to new condition. The rear window glass is included.* Has an original 1966 bench seat, with mostly original silver upholstery.* Eyebrow Grille* Hard to get 1966 only steering wheel horn button "Product of Ford Motor Company"* Original vacuum wipers still present.* Kick panel tag still attached, these are usually long gone. * Complete set of 1966 only OEM Bronco hubcaps, these can sell for $1,500 - $2,000 a set.
Main rust issues are the floors and the bed area. The tailgate is pretty rusty and would need to be replaced. the inner fenders are in great shape. The front door posts are solid. The rear door posts would need patches on the outer bottoms and a patch on the inner side on the passenger side. The drivers door can be repaired or replaced. The passenger door looks ok. Comes with a clear transferable registration as it's from a State that doesn't title vehicles this age. If your State titles vehicles this age they will convert the registration into a title in your State. We have done our best to describe everything for you. This is a great little bronco and the parts that are rusty are actually the more easily replaceable parts. The Bronco is located in Rosenberg, TX 77471. I can assist with getting you a transportation quote if needed. Sold as/is and also for sale locally and we reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. Hurry and you can have it in time for Christmas. PM me if your local and would like to check it out.
