Car description

1927 Ford Truck CLEAR INDIANA TITLE IN MY NAME. TITLED AS 1927 FORD TRUCK PLEASE read the entire description BEFORE asking questions. You are looking at a one of a kind handbuilt hot rod. Inspired by the post-apocalyptic world of Mad Max and built to fit in at any Wasteland Weekend event or to steal all the attention from the high end builds at any car show. This started with a 1927 Model T cowl which was then widened, a pair of Nova fenders served as a starting point for the sides of the body, and everything was then reinforced with box tubing and an additional layer of 18 gauge sheetmetal on the interior. The sides of the body utilized 1960 Impala trim to open up some air ducts that force air through the back of the body to provide more flow to the rear mounted radiator. The bed is all handmade and uses an old model A I-beam axle as the top of the tailgate and a split ammo box to serve as a kickout for the battery tray on the passenger side and a toolbox on the drivers side. The gastank is a modified air tank that has a chain and padlock to keep unwanted visitors from taking your gas. There are tons of unique details all over the body, be sure to check out all the pics carefully so you don't miss anything.
  • Chassis- The frame is custom built using 2X3 box steel from the front clip back. The front clip is made from Plate steel to form a tapered frame rail then covered with a panel of expanded metal on the outside. The expanded on the frame is for aesthetic purposes and is only on the exterior of the frame. The suspension is all leaf springs with tube shocks. Straight Axle frontend with split wishbones. 1963 Impala rearend.
  • Motor/Trans- This creation is powered by a pretty stock 350 small block chevy and th350 transmission. the engine has been upgraded with an aluminum edelbrock intake and Holley carb and mini hi-torque starter. Hei Distributor. Coolant lines are ran to the radiator in the back with dual electric fans. It keeps the engine perfectly cool and never runs hot at all. The exhaust is open headers and it has the aggressive hot rod sound you would expect from something like this, but mufflers could easily be added if you would like to tone it down some. Be sure to check out the videos of it running and driving.
  • interior- As you can see in the pics, it is equipped with dual racing bucket seats, so if you have ever sat in one of these types of seats you should have a pretty good idea of how much room you have in this beast. If you like t-buckets but hate how tight they are, this is the ride for you. There is significantly more room than your typical model T. The floors and console are accented with aged Oak boards, and a couple pieces of hand tooled leather. The aggressive styling cues and accents are carried on into the interior with chain pieces and hammered panels throughout. Look closely so you don't miss a thing. I even threw in a couple cup holders. The shifter is a hurst quarter stick. The dash is handmade using a 69 camaro bumper and a 57 chevy gauge cluster. For gauges you have a monster tach, oil psi, water temp, and tucked away below the dash is a volt gauge. For speedo I typically use a free app on my phone and sit my phone in the built in pocket in the dash.
  • Lights and Such- The headlights are motorcycle headlights. The red tint can easily be taken off with paint thinner if you're worried about it. It has four corner turn signals as well as a license plate light. The fuse panel is a moroso race panel with toggle switches and indicator lights. There's also a key switch that feeds the panel so you can take the key with you and not have to worry about someone hoping in and starting it.
  • IT DOES COME WITH TWO STEERING WHEELS. THE ONE WITH THE SKULL AND A GRANT 3 SPOKE TRADITIONAL STEERING WHEEL. The steering box that's on it now is a reversed corvair box.
Please read the entire description BEFORE asking questions. It is titled in my name as a 1927 FORD MODEL T TRUCK in Indiana.
Any questions, comments, or offers please feel free to message me on here or TEXT (812)-820-2945 or (812)-820-2271 I work a lot of hours as does my wife, so texting is best, but if you absolutely must call please leave a message and we will get back to you asap. I DO NOT ship, but I will assist in being available for a shipping company to pick up and can meet them in an open parking lot just down the road off a state highway so it is easy for them to pick up. This is a fresh built hotrod and has no warranties expressed or implied. I recommend anyone that is buying ANY hotrod look at it in person whenever possible and if you buy one it's always my personal recommendation that you trailer it home and drive it around your local neighborhood for a while until you get used to it.
