Up for sale is my 1957 ford fairlane 2 door hardtop. It has a 292 with a automatic. It is a very good looking car. I get thumbs up everywhere I go.

As you can see by the pictures the car sparkles. You can see everything from rocks, to ice, to buildings that are hundreds of feet away reflecting in that paint. Overall its a very good looking car, but it is a older restoration. It presents well, but it isn't perfect. The chrome parts, bumpers, door handles, etc are originals and have not been restored/rechromed. Its presentable, but being its 70 years old will have some flaws. The paint looks good, but like any car that gets driven eventually you get a rock chip, or some lady at the car show rubs her purse down your car, so if your really picky you will find flaws.
As far as the interior, its bright red and looks great with the color of the car. The seats are nice and comfy, they don't sag or collapse when you sit in them. The door panels are the same color as the seats and look nice. The garnish mouldings, dash, and painted parts in the car, are presentable but if your picky do show some wear. The carpet is red like the seats. If the carpet was black it would look new and perfect, but because it is red does show some marks. The trunk is nice and clean.
The motor is a 292 which runs great. It fires right up. It has a automatic transmission. It has middle gears in the rearend so in town cruising or long distance road trips are not a problem. Brakes work nice, steers nice, doesn't overheat, doesn't drip a quart of oil on your garage floor, basically mechanically its in great shape.
This is a great deal on a nice car. Fly in and drive it home. I really don't want to sell it, but I'm losing some storage. This won't last long, this is the best deal on ebay !
I'm not sure if this is a 300, 500, Custom, or Del Rio. So I listed them all in the title.
I would take cash when you pick this up or a bank wire transfer. I would like to be paid in full within 48 hours after the auction ends.
I deal with truckers for work everyday. So if you need help getting this to you, let me know and I can get you a shipping quote.
