Well it will not exactly fit under the tree, but this new toy will fit nicely in your garage this winter. First time ever offered for sale is “Frankie” a hard to find one-of-a-kind 1963 Ford F-100 short bed pickup truck. This resto-mod uses a 1999 Crown Victoria Chassis and drivetrain. What is a Resto-mod? The resto-mod is a relatively recent phenomenon in the collector-car world. These new cars mix old and new technology to create the best of both worlds, matching classic styling with modern comfort, performance, and reliability. This is a turnkey truck! I have been daily driving it all summer and fall. The stock Crown Victoria gauges are functional but hidden behind the original F-100 gauge cluster. (To appear stock for car shows) A Bluetooth OBD-2 reader can be used with a smart phone as a gauge cluster. (this is what I do) Drivetrain: 4.6L V-8 engine with duel exhaust, 4 speed automatic transmission.Runs and drives great with 180,xxx miles.Suspension: Independent front suspension. New front end parts include: shocks, pitman arm, idler arm, sway bar end links, as well as new lower ball joints. Front end was aligned 2 weeks ago. A four link 8.8 rear-end with 3” lift springs (gives it a nice stance!)Modern Conveniences: power steering, power brakes, four-wheel disc brakes, cruise control, and air conditioning!Paint Job: Yes, it is painted! It was primed and painted and wet sanded for the faux patina. Then it was satin clear coated. It was a lot of elbow grease but well worth it. Also, I primed and painted the frame before the body was placed on.Glass: There are a few chips in the windshield but no cracks or broken glass.Sold in as-is condition with a clean/clear title.. Vehicle will not be released until payment has cleared.I am listing this for a friend, so it may take a minute for me to get answers to any questions.Hot rod rat rod custom built street rod cruiser grain truck farm truck barn find F500 F100 F-1 F600 hotrod ratrod vintage retro farmhouse
