It has been completelyassembled and maintained and since being done it has beendriven approximately 5,000 miles by the current owner. That is the reason for listing 5,000 miles on the car as it does not have any odometer. The VIN number that we have used on this listing is the number from the engine. Many safety improvements have been made that allow this car to cruise down the smooth highway atcountry road speeds. This car was restored to be a driver! The engine is the upgradedT engine for 1927 and has an aluminum high compression head and a touring cam.It also has the Ruckstell 2 speed rear end that features the standard lower ratio for power and a higher speed for cruising.Other features and improvements for touring such as rack and pinion steering, outside rear drum brakes, 12 volt electrical with alternator and split exhaust with dual mufflers. The tires are all (5) brand new on beautifuloriginal wood spoke wheels. As the pictures show it has a very nice functional brass horn but also an electric horn, electric turn signals, headlights, tail and brake light also all electric. The owner states "that it is an extremely clean '12, running much better than most, (new carburetor) and it is a hill climber!" Both the doors on each side open and close easily and securely. As he stated "it was built with safety in mind, touring and best of all it shows very well." It features an original 1912 license plate. The car also has the rear brass taillight and other parts, books, tools and accessories that go with it. Included besides those items that are inside the wood box mounted behind the gas tank.
