About this vehicleThis 1977 Ford Bronco is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives.Seller's NotesThis is a VERY nice Bronco that is hard to find in this condition. ExteriorIf you clicked on this auction, you are obviously a person with good taste and are seeking a highly-desired and collectible vehicle. Early '70's Broncos are hot right now with the anticipated release of Ford's new Bronco: their value only keeps increasing.
This is THE Bronco you are after... a 1977 Ford Bronco Sport. Hopefully you have done your research and looked at several Broncos prior to this one and know what rusted-out junk is out there and the outrageous prices they are bringing. Even "project" Broncos are bringing $20K. You also know that a Bronco such as this comes along only a couple of times a year, if even then.
Having only 85,000 original miles, this is one nice Bronco Sport that anyone would be proud to own. It has had some nice touches done to it to make it the eye-candy that it is. The bright red paint shines very nicely and is a solid "9". The 302 V8 is topped with an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold with Edelbrock 4bbl carb and air cleaner, along with Ford chrome valve covers. The engine starts, idles, and runs strong with a nice throaty dual exhaust tone. The C4 automatic transmission shifts good. The 4WD works as it should and the hubs lock in and out with ease. The interior is very nice (a "9+") with factory bucket seats, a rear seat, rollbar, carpet, and headliner... all very nice. All guages work properly. A Kenwood stereo has been added and sounds good. The aftermarket console can be removed if not wanted. The air-conditioner works and blows cold. The heater is not hooked up. Power steering and brakes round out the options. The windows are tinted and roll up and down easily. The "wing" vents open and close as they should, and the rear hatch window and tailgate function properly. I know for a fact the owner has never taken the hardtop off. The aluminum wheels and 33x12.50x15 tires look nice under the 2.5" lift kit, and the steering is tight. The Bronco rides and drives like a lifted, short-wheelbased truck, so don't expect it to ride and drive 2020 Honda Accord.
Again this is a very nice example of a highly sought after and desired vehicle. 1977 was the last year for this body style and it has the factory dual gas tanks. The trim is complete and is in nice shape. Look closely at the pictures and you will see no rust or rot. The rockers, jambs, cab mounts, floor pans, drip rails, frame, etc., are all solid and rust free. The repaint is quality and shines beautifully. This vehicle has always been garaged by the owner and was never driven in the snow and rain, and it shows. This truck originally came out of central Texas, then went to Oklahoma, and has resided in Illinois for the last 13 years; driven only on nice days to carshows, cruise-ins, and parades. Several trophies attest to the niceness of this Bronco. Stored from November through March/April every year by the owner.
I have tried to describe this vehicle the best I can, but the Bronco is not mine. I am facilitating this sale as part of an estate settlement. The elderly gentleman owner of the vehicle passed away this past April and wrote some words about his pride and joy litterally on his deathbed (see photos). There is much documentation that will be included with the Bronco.
Please ask any questions, but I would strongly encourage you arrange a showing and test drive of the Bronco with me, as this is considerable investment on your part. Nothing can replace the touch, feel, and smell of a test drive after "kicking the tires" to quash any apprehensions of buying a vehicle of this nature online. If you are the successful bidder, I will gladly be available for a transporter of your choice, but you are responsible for securing said transporter and for any costs associated with shipping the vehicle. Since this is being sold by a private party, no warranties are written, expressed, or implied. You are buying this 43 yr-old vehicle used and as-is. The title is clean, clear, and in hand. The title will not be signed over to the successful bidder until the winning amount has cleared your bank and is sitting in the bank of the estate's executor. Please be aware, this process can take up to 14 days. The Bronco does not leave my possession unil the money has cleared. Title transfer, taxes, registration, and safety inspection (if any) required by your state/province is your responsibility, A non-refundable deposit of $500 helps make this a serious auction on your part, so please be serious with your bids. PLEASE RE-READ THIS PARAGRAPH, then make sure you have the approval from your spouse, mother, and banker before you bid.
Please bid like you have to have this classic vehicle as you know it will only increase in value. Also, be prepared to acknowledge all the "thumbs-up" you will get when driving this truck! Thanks, and best of luck!InteriorEngineCreated on the eBay Motors app
