You are viewing a beautiful 1962 Foed Galaxie 500XL 2dr. hardtop. Equipped with an awsome performing big block 390 that was built 30 over by Holman & Moody in NC, original T-10 4 speed and 9" differential. This car starts immediately with a click of the key and settles into a smooth idle. Holley 750 double pumper and dual Flowmaster exhaust. This motor is very powerful and will get down the road in a hurry! The 4 speed shifts flawlessly and the reverse lockout works great. Complete power steering just replaced, including PS control valve, Ram, hoses, pump, idler arm, pitman arm, outer tie rods and pump. A complete new front suspension kit has been installed and the power brakes have just been done on all four corners as well as a new power booster. Brand new 17x9 & 17x8 wheels and new radials, the car really runs and handles very well.
This Galaxie is an original XL car and has recently been resprayed in its correct Raven Black base/clear. Paint looks great with very few (If any) flaws. The Red (correct color) XL interior looks fantastic and has probably been replaced at some point in its life. Headliner is real nice. No rips or tears anywhere. There is currently 35000 miles on the odometer.
