Up for sale is my beautiful '77 F-150 Custom 4x4. I've had the truck for about 3 years and have not put on more than a couple thousand miles. ODO reads 87,990 which I suspect is accurate for the truck, but anyone who knows old vehicles also knows you can never guarantee the actual mileage. The truck was originally from Wyoming, no major rust - mostly just the surface kind that older vehicles tend to have. From what I was told, the previous owner purchased it from someone who had done some restoration to the truck (new paint, new interior, diamond plate trim, possibly rebuilt some of the engine). Its been a great driver, no major mechanical issues and the interior is in real nice shape, upholstery is basically new (I had a cover on the bench seat the whole time I have owned it). The truck has a ford 400 engine and dual fuel tanks (switching between them works flawlessly). Some really nice upgrades to the truck that make it a great daily driver option - Automatic Transmission (shifts great), Holley carb, MSD ignition, Heater/defroster, windshield wiper delay switch, BFG AT tires, etc. Come check it out and see it for yourself!Things I've done to the truck: Oil changes seasonally (once in spring, once in fall) with full synthetic oil-Spark plugs/cap and rotor/plug wires-Newer battery-New power steering cylinder (this year)-Power steering lines (last year)-Replaced main gas tank float gauge-Probably a few more minor/basic things I can't recall right now.Things the truck needs: New sway bar/linkage - The truck is 100% drivable, but I've noticed some slop recently in the linkage and you can feel it after making sharper turns when the steering wheel returns to center-Carb needs to be tuned - an easy job for anyone who is familiar with carbs. The transfer case is not shifting out of 4x4, just wont seem to catch when you try to shift it to 2wd. This hasn't been a major issue for me as I've always driven it in 4wd anyway - just lock and unlock the hubs as necessary or when weather calls for it. I've priced the truck somewhere in the middle of the price range according to the NADA guide but I am open to REASONABLE offers. Its really a fantastic, fun truck that always gets lots of looks and could certainly be a daily driver - lots of upgrades, really more than I can name. Best thing you could do if interested is come check it out for yourself. Really looking for local buyers or someone within driving distance of Southwest Montana as I'd prefer not to ship the truck. If you need the truck shipped, It will be the buyers responsibility. I would prefer that we meet face to face, that way you are assured of the quality of the truck and I'm assured you're a legitimate buyer. If for some reason you are unable to come see the truck yourself before purchasing, we can arrange a Facetime/Zoom call for you to see the truck in greater detail. Please ask any questions, come see the truck or schedule a Facetime/Zoom meeting to see it before sending offers or purchasing truck.
