Car description

This 1932 Ford Roadster is a true old school hot rod right down to the flathead V8 and a lineage that can be traced back to the 1950s Midwest. But along the way, it has also evolved with some unique features, including a five-speed. Plus, this was specially done so that taller people could fit without issue, too.

The hot rod comes with a few magazines that tell its unique story. They even mention it's true Midwest two-lane blacktop hero that was running around Nebraska in the 1950s. So when you imagine the golden age of custom hot rods, this one was actually part of it! Its current form goes back to the early 1980s where it became part of a multi-year build. Today, this real steel bodied street machine has the sleekness that tells you it has been given the right care and investments. The black body has a piano-like finish; the louvered hood and trunk are pure old-school sporty; and the thin chrome bumpers add the right brightwork touch. We especially like how the neon-like green gives new appreciation to classic elements like the waterfall grille, drop axle front suspension, and wire wheels. In fact, as you look over the whole car, you'll start to see the green highlighting some of the best vintage pieces.

Inside is where this one shows a few of its custom tricks. The floor is custom contoured, and it dips into the frame's space. So if you're a taller person who couldn't get comfortable in a hot rod before, this one was made to accommodate you. It's built to have a racer look with metal floors, racing lap belts, a roll hoop, a mounted fire extinguisher, Hurst shifter, and four-spoke sports steering wheel. But this is also one for detail lovers with saddle bags in the door, a button-top seatback, and even a cool black folding roof.

A motor like this deserves to be on display at all times. The 239 cubic-inch flathead's block is done in the attention-grabbing green, and so are the mountings for the triple set of Stromberg carbs. There are all sorts of nice details, like the finned Edelbrock heads and polished metal piping that does the V8's famous 90-degree dive off the radiator. And those headers lead to a full dual exhaust system. And since this is a true hot rod, you also have cutouts to let you fully bring the rolling thunder whenever you want. So you can just imaging taking full control of the old-school power and booming sound with the upgraded T5 five-speed manual transmission. As you look underneath, you'll see more cool details in green, and the street signs even pay tribute to this car's origins that included street signs used for the firewall.

The sale comes complete with a nice history file with publications, receipts, and history. This is an awesome custom that carries a true hot rod spirit. So you know you can't miss this deal. Call today!!!
