up for auction is a 1931 ford model A deluxe coupe with trunk lid. i have all of the oklahoma registration slips all the way back to 1947, previous owner bought the car in 47' and had driven it until his death in the early 2000's. it is an original body, and has never been re-painted. there was very little rust and it was confined to both lower rear quarter panels and both lower rear wheel houses. i had all of the areas professionally repaired by tig welding replacement panels and sanding smooth using no body filler. i also had a complete floor installed using 18 Gauge cold finish steel. i had all of the upper "TOP" wood replaced, using a kit from "mikes' model a parts. the original fuel tank has been removed, was going to use 1940 ford dash (not included). the 1932 ford fuel tank mounted at the rear below body is an original but is not usable (was going to mount fuel cell in trunk). the 32 grill is a replacement item. the chassis is an original model A' ford with a 1946 ford banjo rear axle (hydraulic brakes). and the front axle/ suspension is an original 1933 thru 1936 ford dropped/ stretched/ dago axle with hydraulic brakes. also included is a set of 1935 ford wheels with a set of new 6:00 X 16 bias tires. note the chassis will require a complete restoration. this model A has a clear and up to date Oklahoma title. note: i will post another photo of all of the other parts that are included in this auction, such as the garnish molding, window cranks, etc...once this vehicle is paid for i can store for 90 days at no further costs to buyer. also once sold i will remove hood, grill shell, and all other loose parts and place inside car. the inner floor pan and body has had 2 coats of POR-15 brushed on, and the bottom side has had 2 coats of spray on bed liner.
